On October 28th Miami View Elementary hosted the “Super U Challenge” for grades K through 6. Students learned about character building and bullying prevention. The fast paced show enlisted the help of students in playing games while delivering important information regarding character education. Lots of smiles on the faces of our students!
MV Elementary celebrated Red Ribbon Week. Students dressed up during the week to show their support for drug free awareness and the well being of our youth. During the week students dressed up in rainbow colors, mix and match, western, pajama and hawaiian day.
Officers Josh Berner and Shawn Lisle have been conducting DARE classes for our 5th grade students. The classes have been going very well. DARE graduation will be held December 10th at 1:30pm.
The Miami View PTA Fall Fest will be Saturday, November 1st from 1-4pm. Activities include:
-Games for kids of all ages
Everyone is welcome and please help us make this year’s Miami View Fall Fest a HUGE success.
Miami View Book Fair is November 10th through the 14th during school hours. The book fair will also be open Tuesday, November 11th and Thursday, November 13th from 3:15pm to 7pm in the MV Library. Payments should be Checks or Money Orders written to scholastic. Cash cannot be accepted. Thank you.
The Southeastern Local School District would like to invite area veterans to Veteran’s Day Observances on November 11 at both of the district’s buildings. Miami View Elementary will be holding their event at 9 A.M. and the assembly at Southeastern Jr. and Sr. High will be at 12:05 P.M. Both assemblies will feature patriotic music and recognition of veterans in attendance. The Staff and Students of the Southeastern Schools wish to show their appreciation to all veterans for their service to our country and hope that many veterans will be able to be with us at one or both of our assemblies that day.
MV Student Council will be holding its annual Holiday Food Drive from November 3rd until December 5th. Students should take donations to their homeroom. The homeroom with the most donations will be rewarded with a pizza party! In honor of the Ohio State/Michigan football game students are encouraged to wear Ohio State or Michigan apparel on Tuesday, November 25th and bring a donation to support their favorite team.

December 4th the 5th and 6th grade Christmas Program (Music, Choir and Band) will be held at 7pm in the MV Gym.
December 11th the 3rd and 4th grade Christmas Program will be held at 7pm in the MV Gym.
December 17th the Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade Christmas Program will be held at 7pm in the MV Gym.
MV Student Council will be selling Pencil Grams in December. Send a pencil to someone for just $ .25 or 5 for a $1.00. This sale will take place in the cafeteria. Dates of the sale will be announced in next months menu.

MIAMI VIEW SCHOOL FEES FOR 2014-15
The school fees for the 2014-2015 school year are listed below. Fees may be paid in full at the beginning of the year, ½ each semester, or ¼ each grading period. Student fees will be waived for students on free lunch. If you are paying for more than one student, please indicate how you want the check divided, so that the correct amount will be applied to each student’s account. The fees for each grade level will be:
$60.00 – Kindergarten
$50.00 – First Grade
$62.00 – Second Grade
$80.00 – Third Grade
$84.00 – Fourth Grade
$61.50 – Fifth Grade
$68.50 – Sixth Grade
